Dining · Flagstaff
Pizzicletta is a tiny wood-fired pizzeria that punches far above its size. The kitchen keeps things simple and Neapolitan in spirit — blistered, char-kissed crusts, a short list of quality toppings, and house-made gelato to finish. It is a labor of love, and it tastes like it.
The room is small and the oven turns out pizzas quickly, which is part of the appeal, but it does mean the place fills up. Arriving early, especially on weekends, is the move if you would rather not wait.
From a Flagstaff rental it makes a perfect low-key dinner after a day on the mountain — a couple of pies, some gelato, and an early night before the next adventure. Do not let the size fool you; this is some of the best pizza in Northern Arizona.
