Arts · Sedona
The Sedona Arts Festival is the town's oldest and largest arts gathering, a fall tradition that brings juried artists and thousands of visitors together under the red rocks. It's an outdoor, weekend-style event with a genuinely high bar for the work on display — this is a destination show, not a craft fair.
You'll find booths of painting, photography, jewelry, sculpture, ceramics, glass, and fine craft from artists who apply and are selected to exhibit, so the quality stays consistent across the field. Live music, food, and a relaxed festival atmosphere round it out, making it as much a good day out as a place to buy art directly from the makers.
Fall weather makes strolling the booths comfortable, but bring a hat and water — much of it is out in the open. If you're hoping to buy, come early for the best selection before popular pieces sell. Check the festival's dates once they're posted for the year. A Sedona rental nearby means you can drop off any finds and head back out to enjoy the rest of the day.
